Best Ever Homemade Mustard

Makes ± 400 ml

Ingredients

200 g (250 ml) Huletts White Sugar
3 eggs
100 ml white wine vinegar
20 g (50 ml) mustard powder
salt


Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and beat until smooth in the top of a double boiler until the sauce thickens.
  2. Stir occasionally.
  3. Cook until the foaminess at the top disappears, ± 20 minutes.
  4. Leave to cool.

Variation: Stir in 15 ml mustard seeds and 15 ml dried mixed herbs at the end of cooking process.
