Cherry Tea Loaf
Ingredients115 g Butter OR Margarine225 g Self-raising Flour 60 g Huletts White Sugar 2 Large Eggs 50 ml Milk 50 g Glacé Cherries, chopped |

Method
- Rub the butter or margarine into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs.
- Add the sugar and mix.
- Beat together the eggs and milk. Add, together with the glacé cherries, to the flour mixture and mix into a dough.
- Spoon the dough into a tin and bake in an oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Turn out onto a wire rack and allow to cool.
