Chocolate Oat Biscuits
Makes 25 biscuitsIngredients20 g Low Fat Margarine125 ml (85 g) SUGAlite 2.5 ml (½tsp) Vanilla Essence 30ml (2T) Cocoa 200ml Cake Flour 7.5ml (1½tsp) Baking Powder 166ml (⅔ cup) Oats 83ml (⅓ cup) Fat Free Milk | |
Method
- Cream the margarine and SUGAlite together and add the vanilla essence. Sift in the cocoa, cake flour and baking powder. Add the oats, mix well.
- Add enough milk to the mixture to make a firm dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls and flatten with the back of a fork, place on a greased baking tray. Don't place the balls too close together as they spread while baking.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 150º for 35 minutes, remove and cool on a wire rack.
