Chocolate Oat Biscuits

Makes 25 biscuits

Ingredients

20 g Low Fat Margarine
125 ml (85 g) SUGAlite
2.5 ml (½tsp) Vanilla Essence
30ml (2T) Cocoa
200ml Cake Flour
7.5ml (1½tsp) Baking Powder
166ml (⅔ cup) Oats
83ml (⅓ cup) Fat Free Milk


 

Method

  1. Cream the margarine and SUGAlite together and add the vanilla essence. Sift in the cocoa, cake flour and baking powder. Add the oats, mix well.
  2. Add enough milk to the mixture to make a firm dough.
  3. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten with the back of a fork, place on a greased baking tray. Don't place the balls too close together as they spread while baking.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 150º for 35 minutes, remove and cool on a wire rack.

Recommend: 2 biscuits per serving
