Sweet & Savoury sauces

Coffee Sauce

Makes about 200 ml

Ingredients

10 ml (2 tsp) Instant Coffee Powder
150 ml Double Cream
15 ml (1 tbsp) Milk
30 ml (2 tbsp) Huletts Castor Sugar
A few drops of Vanilla Essence

Method

  1. Dissolve the coffee powder in 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of hot water in a bowl and leave to cool slightly.
  2. Stir in the cream, milk, sugar and vanilla essence. Whisk until the cream begins to hold its shape.
