French Pear Dessert
Makes 4–5 servingsIngredients160 ml Milk40 ml (8 tsp) Cream 40 ml (8 tsp) Huletts White Sugar 40 ml (8 tsp) Flour 2 Eggs 5 ml (1 tsp) Vanilla Essence 5 Pears, peeled, cored and cut into 1 cm thick rounds 30 ml (2 tbsp) Huletts SunSweet Brown Sugar 15 ml (1 tbsp) Cold Butter, cut into small pieces |

Method
- In a blender, combine the milk, cream, sugar, flour and eggs. Blend for 5 seconds, then add the vanilla essence.
- Transfer to a buttered 1 litre ovenproof dish and place the pear rounds on top. Sprinkle the sugar over the pears and dot with the butter.
- Bake at 200°C for approximately 50 minutes, then serve immediately.
