What's for breakfast?
Start your day the crazy way!
With a few cookie cutters and the delicious range of Huletts syrups, you can turn a boring, bland toast into a yummy, fun treat. Your kids will love these sweet little surprises and they can even help you make them!Funky French Toast
- Using cookie cutters, cut shapes out of a few slices bread
- Beat 2 eggs and ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence together in a bowl
- Dip your bread shapes into the mixture
- Melt a little margarine in a frying pan
- Fry the egg-covered bread shapes in the pan
- Once cooked, squeeze your favourite Huletts Syrup over each shape
Double-decker Chocolate Hearts
- Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut two shapes out of a slice of bread and toast them
- Once toasted, spread some Huletts Chocolate Syrup on top of each heart
- Stack the hearts on top of one another, syrup side up
- Sprinkle some chocolate shavings over the top heart and serve
Get your kids to eat a healthy breakfast
We know it seems like an impossible task but it's important to get your kids to eat something of nutritional value before they tear off to school. Add a little charm to your tree
Who says decorations can't be tasty too?Add some charm to your Christmas tree this festive season by decorating it with Christmas-themed ginger biscuits.
- Follow our recipe for Gingerbread People, but instead of gingerbread figures, cut out Christmas trees, baubles or bells. For a low kilojoule, low GI alternative, follow our recipe for Spicy Ginger Biscuits that uses SUGAlite.
- Leave the ginger biscuits to harden for a day.
- Decorate the edges of the ginger biscuits with colourful icing and silver balls.
- Make a hole near the top of each biscuit with the edge of a sharp knife and thread a piece of brightly-coloured ribbon through it.
- Tie the ends of the ribbon together and find a special spot on the tree for your dainty and delicious decoration.
