Lemon Sauce
Ingredients125 ml ( ½ cup) Huletts White Sugar15 ml (1 tbsp) Cornflour 200 ml Boiling Water 30 ml (2 tbsp) Butter 80 ml Fresh Lemon Juice Grated Nutmeg (optional) |

Method
- Mix the sugar and cornflour, adding the water gradually while stirring.
- Cook over heat, stirring all the time, for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from the heat and add the butter, lemon juice and grated nutmeg (if desired).
Serving Suggestions: Good with apple tart as a change from cream, or with fresh fruit salad.
