Lemon Syrup
Ingredients1 kg Huletts White Sugar1 litre Boiling Water 30 g Tartaric Acid 1 small bottle Lemon Essence |

Method
- Combine the sugar and water. Bring to the boil and boil for 15 minutes. Make sure the sugar is dissolved.
- Leave to stand until almost cold, then stir in the tartaric acid and lemon essence.
- Mix well and bottle. This makes a concentrated syrup.
- To serve, pour 2 tablespoons of the syrup into a glass and fill with water or soda water.
