Thirst quenchers

Chai Tea


Ingredients

1L Water
1 Stick cinnamon
1 knob of fresh ginger - cut into 4 slices
2ml Cardamom seeds
2ml Black peppercorns
3 Whole cloves
5ml Whole coriander seeds
3 Tea bags
250ml Low fat milk
2 Sachets Huletts Equisweet

Method

  1. Bring water to the boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add spices, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the teabags and steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Add milk and heat to drinking temperature - do not boil
  5. Strain mixture and stir in Equisweet.
  6. Serve.
