Thirst quenchers

Summer Fruit Punch


Ingredients

500 ml (2 cups) Water
750 ml (3 cups) Huletts White Sugar
750 ml (3 cups) Orange Juice
500 ml (2 cups) Apple Juice
1 litre (4 cups) Apricot Juice OR Pineapple Juice
750 ml (3 cups) White Wine (off-dry is the best)
2 litres Soda Water
1 litre Ginger Ale
500 ml (2 cups) Chopped Fruit (apples, pineapple, strawberries, etc)

Method

  1. Dissolve the sugar in the water over a low heat.
  2. Increase the heat and boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the fruit juice, wine and chopped fruit, and allow to stand for one hour.
  4. Just before serving, add the soda water and ginger ale.

Note: You may halve the ingredients if necessary.
